Florence-Marie is President of African Women Acting (AWA), where she contributes to organizational leadership and Community Engagement. With a background in Business Administration, she brings experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable.

She is particularly interested in community engagement and is passionate about supporting artists from different backgrounds to shine in their communities and beyond.

Outside of her work with the organization, Florence-Marie is currently working as an Analyst for a financial institution and enjoys reading and listening to music.

Jacqueline Walters is unique, a woman who follows her own mind, and blazes her own trail. She has always known that to be a successful Black woman, she had to go above and beyond cultural and societal expectations.

Not one to be told what she cannot do, she has spent a lifetime pursuing unconventional passions – travelling the world and becoming one of the highest-level international referees; becoming a national kickboxing champion; becoming a renowned motorcyclist, performer and more. And in all of these endeavours, she has often been the only woman, the only person of colour and the only individual of a certain age.

During her lifetime, she has been a motivational speaker, a mentor and role model for inner-city youth, women and people of colour. Even with these considerable accomplishments, Jacqueline often found herself being discouraged by others which just flamed her passion more.

Now retired from a diverse career that included stints as a Journalist, Marketer, Corporate Analyst, Coach and Personal Trainer, Jacqueline is excited to contribute to AWA as Vice President.

Sandra Osamudiamen serves as Treasurer of African Women Acting (AWA). She is a dedicated Administrator in the Healthcare industry and contributes her administrative experience to AWA’s governance and financial stewardship.
